Price War: Lenovo A6000 v/s Redmi Note 4G v/s Yureka Yu

Lenovo recently launched A6000 for Rs. 6999 joining the league of affordable 4G LTE devices.The device rebels against Redmi Note and Yureka Yu smartphones.

Lenovo A6000 vs Redmi Note 4G vs Yu Yureka

At CES 2015, Lenovo unveiled its A6000 device which will go against devices like Redmi Note and Yu. RedMi note resembles very much to Lenovo A6000 at first instance. Both devices seem to have slight difference in terms of weight and display.

Display and Design

Lenovo A6000 features a 5” HD IPS screen that is less than other devices with 5.5” on both Yu and Redmi Note. Both Yu and Redmi are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 that makes them scratch-resistant.

A6000 is easy to hold as its rear panel is made of matte finish that avoids the mobile to slip from hands. Its main highlights are its Dolby Digital plus certified dual speakers.

Processor

Yureka is supported by 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor and 1.5 GHz processor. While the Redmi Note is powered by Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor with 1.6GHz processor.

Both devices are paired with 2GB RAM. While A6000 is powered by 64 bit quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 with 1.2 GHz along with 1GB RAM.

Camera and Battery

For camera, both devices Redmi and Yu have same features with 13MP shooter at the back and a 5MP front camera. While A6000 flaunts a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP camera without flash.

For battery, RedMi edges ahead with 3200mAh battery, Yu gives you a 2500mAh battery. While, A6000 is powered by 2300 removable battery delivering 13 hours of talk time. It supports 4G LTE effectively.

Software

This is where smartphones differ from each other the most. Redmi Note 4G runs on Android KitKat with MiUI v6. While Yu runs on CyanogenMod 11 that is built over Android KitKat with customizing features including menu, themes and font changing options.

Yu will be the first device to get an upgrade to Android Lollipop version. While A6000 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Lenovo’s Vibe UI 2.0 on top and will soon be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
